Nightfall to L.A. Ferry Question - Guild Wars Forums

I am able to go from the Consulate (Mehleno) in N.F. to L.A. but when I get there I am unable to open the gate for individuals I take. Is there something I have not done that will not allow me to open the gate again?

Sounds like the people you take haven't completed the necessary quests to be able to go to LA, and so the gate will not open. My guess, then? People can't be ferried.

No, actually, it's the other way around. I did the same thing with my NF character and only the ones who haven't been yet (being ferried) were allowed, the person who brings them over has to leave for them to be able to teleport into LA. I was ferrying my grandson over and he couldn't teleport until my NF character left his party, was weird.
